Organization
Realignment
Overview.
Organizations operate on a set of characteristics that may or may not be
articulated, or even written, let alone shared with the workforce. There
are at least three categories of these characteristics: 1) a Beliefs Set which
provides definition in five categories about "why" the organization exists; 2) a
Strategy Bridge which describes overarching concepts concerning "how" the
organization will transition from the here-and-now to the future it pursues, and
3) a set of Work Regimen documents that likely includes a description of "what"
work needs to be done, by "whom" and "when" it needs to be completed.
Because an organization is a living system, a change in any part of the
"alignment" will likely necessitate an examination and potential adjustment to
all other parts.
