- Simple and Strategic
Overview.
Planning efforts are divided into two distinct categories depending on the
needs: simple and strategic. Simple planning is used for event-based
conditions whereas strategic is used for more complex organizational long-term
conditions. It is important to distinguish that the mental processes of
the planners is more apt to be a primary results of the planning process in
either case. Thinking systemically and strategically as a planner and an
implementer of plans is one of the most valuable byproducts of plan creation if
done well.
