Team
Building
Overview.
A well-functioning team meets several criteria, among them a sense of urgency
and a high level of collaborative skills with the collateral requisite talents
needed to resolve problems quickly and effectively. Any team can become
sluggish with lack of realistic priority, or burned out with a chaotic priority
set that is difficult to discern. When everything is priority, there are
no priorities. Without a systemic perspective, the relationship between
competing demands fails to produce the synergy needed to do more with less.
Managing high performance teams demands reliable information and set courses of
action.
