Registration and Activation Options
CapacityWare may be registered for both limited use as a READER ONLY,
or full use that includes the enhanced ability to interact with the system. Service
is provided to registered software only. Only registered software can be activated.
Activation of registered software allows the user the full range of options available
through CapacityWare.
1. Insert the compact disc into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Click on the button labeled "Install CapacityWare."
This will launch an appropriate installation program.
3. Follow the instructions on your display.
1. You will receive instruction by e-mail from your organization's CapacityWare
Administrator.
2. Browse your network to the identified Directory of Origin, and click
"Install CapacityWare." This will launch an appropriate installation
program.

1. The first time CapacityWare is launched the following Registration
notice (or one similar to it) will be displayed. This notice may also be obtained
by clicking on "About" at the Main Menu.
The Registration Number will be needed by the LTI Service agent.
Have the number and other information ready, please.
2. If Licensure Activation is an option or requirement (there is a charge
for this level of registration), clicking on the "Register" button
will display the following window option. The LTI Service agent will provide four
series of numbers.
The client-user will enter the numbers provided in order
to engage features in the software that may be required.
The Total Number
of Activated Licenses will allow the client-user to take surveys and inventories
and perform related functions a specified number of times.
The Product
Key will allow the client-user access to those features commensurate with the
level of service desired.
Important Notice: Acquiring these numbers
may mandate providing LTI with a Purchase Order Number, a Contract Number, or credit
card information. This information may be included ain the initial e-mail used to
activate the software. Inquire of your CapacityWare Administrator, if need be, prior
to registration.

3. CapacityWare may be registered by phone (local call in Hampton
Roads, Virginia 591-0807, toll call at 1-888-860-3526), or click CW-REGISTRATION
here.
4. LTI will provide you with information concerning upgrades for registered uses
via e-mail. This may also be accomplished by your organization's CapacityWare
Administrator.
1. When registration licensure has lapsed (all activated licenses have been used),
the client-user will see the following display when CapacityWare is
started.
2. Clicking "No" will allow the user limited access to system
features.
3. Clicking "Yes" will return the client-user to the Software
Activation process described above.
